Last Workshop’s Projects
I wanted to share some of the projects we made at the last workshop. We had so much making them and hope they inspire you to join us at the next workshop. See details below for the next workshop.
I especially love this adorable sunflower card. I cased it from Amy Combs because I just love it so much. We used the Flowers for All Seasons Suite and the Daisy Punch and the Medium Daisy Punch. Notice the beautiful ribbon! The white linen ribbon is so beautiful and versatile. You can color it any color you want, with the Stampin’ Blends. I love the 3D look and the freshness of it. It’s so great for Fall.
This was such a fun card to make. I love love love the Whale of a Time Suite which features the Whale Done stamp set and the Whale of a Time DSP. The colors are so vivid and bold. The DSP is the absolute best! It’s so versatile to use for background and/or just a little strip to add a pop of color to your card. The Whale Punch is the cutest! It punches out the largest whale in the DSP pattern and also the whale in the stamp set. The sheer ribbon in Pool Party is just too much, being able to add color that looks like water. Oh! and those adorable sequins….. the little pink scallops…super cute!
Another really fun and colorful suite in our collection this year is the Playing with Patterns Suite. I love the colors and the fun projects you can create with this playful suite. The DSP is all geometric lines and circles, so it makes it easy to pick a background and build on it. For this card I made my own background with the dots stamp in the Pattern Play stamp set. I then chose a strip of the DSP for the center focal point of color. The ribbons in this suite are so different from each other but they compliment each very well. The Purple Posy is a thin seam binding type of ribbon, while the Night of Navy is a thin satin gross grain and the Coastal Cabana is a sheer textured stiffer ribbon. It’s really the simplest card ever. I used the label from the Hippo and Friends Dies. Check out those dies, the set has so many awesome label dies. What a fun birthday card.

Join me for the October Costume Workshop where we will be focusing on a Thanksgiving theme. Every year we make something fun that you can share at your Friendsgiving events or your traditional Thanksgiving family day dinners. We will also make some beautiful Thanksgiving/Harvest Fall themed cards. Let’s all celebrate Halloween (since Halloween is cancelled for trick or treaters) and dress up in our favorite costumes. We will have a contest and the winner will get 10% off their order. The class is limited to 10 guests, so reserve your spot today. You have the option to social distance and to wear your masks.

WORKSHOP KIT: Remember to bring your workshop kits with you. I provide all the necessary tools, paper and supplies you need to make the projects, but if you have something you like to use such as scissors, tool picker, blocks etc., please feel free to bring them to the workshop.
