During these difficult times of the Pandemic and having to stay home more to stay safe, paper crafting and stamping is such a wonderful creative outlet. It’s proven that stamping and crafting is a stress reliever and allows your creativity to come out. Even though you may not think that you can create the same beautiful cards and projects you see in the store or on my website, I know you can! Maybe you’re wanting to send some encouragement to the elderly who have not been able to leave their homes during the pandemic, this is a wonderful way to do that. Create inspiring cards and send them to loved ones, friends and family to up lift their spirits in this difficult time.
I want to share a little bit about myself and share with you my passion for stamping. I started with Stampin’ Up! 27 years ago in 1994. Since the day I started until today, I still get so excited each time I create something myself. When I give it away or show it to someone, my heart feels happy. I love the feedback I get from people. They love everything I make. I’m not saying everything I make is perfect or the most beautiful, but the reaction is still positive because they love the fact that it is handmade by me. It comes from my heart. I’ve taken the time to make something for that person individually and that makes them feel special. Exactly the way I want them to feel. My Mom started stamping with me way back 27 years ago (unfortunately she passed away this past October) but I’ve kept every single card or note she has ever made for me and my family. This is such a special keepsake that I have of hers that I will keep forever. It’s her own hand that made it and her love that she had put into each project! That is what stamping has meant to me. Stampin’ Up! has helped me grow in the area of creativeness since I’m not very creative on my own. I love the way the ink matches the paper, the way the paper matches the embellishments, the way the stamps match the Designer Series Paper (DSP), and the way everything coordinates together. I also love that if you want a project designed and coordinated for you, you can elect to go that route (Paper Pumpkin or All Inclusive Kits) or if you’re creative and want to start from scratch you can do that too. Stamping is so easy, stress free, and less time consuming with coordinating Punches, Dies, Designer Series Paper and ink colors.
