Workshop & Shop

What’s more fun than going to a Workshop?

Shopping (obviously)!

Hello Stampers!

I’m hoping all mothers (I include mothers of fur babies, cuz you’re a mom to them too) had a very Happy Mother’s Day!  We had a wonderful time making some beautiful Mother’s Day cards at the April workshop.  See below.  May’s workshop will focus on Father’s Day and All Occasion projects. You don’t want to miss this workshop, and here’s why:

As you all know I moved last year and Annabelle’s Stamping Studio, got a new home.  Well it’s taken me all this time to get our home somewhat settled (still not done), so I started to focus on organizing and  cleaning out Annabelle’s Stamping Studio.  Some of you may not know that I have been selling and exclusively using Stampin’ Up! products for 25 years on June 30.  Well, let that sink in for a minute, 25 years!!!!!  That includes 25 years of stamp sets, paper, ink pads, ink refills, ribbon, tools, embellishments and everything imaginable that has anything to do with paper crafting and rubber stamping and general crafting.  Well I don’t think any home we would have moved to would fit everything that I have accumulated in 25 years.

Lucky for you, on the day of May’s workshop (May 25, 2019) I will be having a BLOW OUT sale on everything crafty! You will be able to buy vintage stamp sets, (Circa 1994-2018 some not opened), dies, ink pads with matching ink refills, DSP, card stock, pre-cut shaped card stock, tools, punches, Stampin’ Write Markers, die cutting machine (complete with alphabet dies), beautiful velum with matching DSP, scrapbooking supplies, scrapbooking kits, storage, pre-made projects (cards, boxes, gift packaging etc)  and MUCH MUCH MORE.  You don’t want to miss it.

Also at this sale I’m having a Closed Garage “Home Goods” Sale.  There are a lot of home decor and household items that I’m not able to use in this house.  I can’t have an open door garage sale, so I’m calling this sale a “Closed Garage “Home Goods” Sale.  The garage won’t be open, but our front door will be open leading to our garage that will be open for business! Items for sale in the “Home Goods” sale include mirrors, wall pictures, hangings, kitchen items, appliances, floral arrangements, plants, decorator lamps, area rugs, end/coffee table, library table, books, workout equipment, yoga equipment (mats, towels bag etc), workout bench with dumb bell weights and MUCH MUCH MORE.  Some items have never been used.

Come early, Stay late! Hope to see you all here.

APRIL WORKSHOP PHOTOS

I’m so glad this set “Piece of Cake” is being carried over to our new 2019-2020 catalog. It’s SO versatile and so easy to make a variety of cards for a whole lot of occasions. It’s bundled with the Cake Punch so no fussy cutting on this adorable card.

Didn’t I tell you that this set is so versatile? Piece of Cake is such a fun set to work with. I love our new colors on this card, Granny Apple Green and Gorgeous Grape.

Limes or lemons what ever you choose, you can use this stamp set. This is just such a fun card. Can be used for other types of cards as well.

I’m really going to miss this Bloom by Bloom set and the beautiful primary colors. I you love it, you can still get it until June 3, 2019.

This card looks complicated but it’s actually easy to put together. I think the layers throw people off, but with the word dies, you’re good to go!

Check out theses Last-Change Products. They will be gone after June 3, 2019

Changes, Changes, Changes

Changes – Price Increases

And Discontinuing Items

Hello Stampers! I wanted to share the list of our price changes that will take effect in our new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog beginning June 4, 2019.  The increases are small ranging from $0.25 to $1.00, which is good.  I think it would be a good idea if you would stock up on your basic necessities (paper, ink, things like that) and save some money.  Every little bit helps.

Also on Monday April 15 I’m going to post our Retiring List.  Every year I let you guys know ahead of time that our retiring items are on a first come first served basis.  Once the items are gone, they’re gone and Stampin’ Up! will not be replenishing their stock, so of course I encourage you to order what you see and want, as soon as possible.

To view Price Changes click the following link:

Now for the big announcement! Stampin’ Up! is discontinuing our Big Shot die cutter and our Trimmer.  Stampin’ Up! is in the process of designing their own branded die cutter and trimmer.  This will eliminate a 3rd party supplier and will also eliminate backorders since we will get it directly from the manufacturer.  This will be ideal as the dies and embossing folders will be made custom to fit the die cutter and work perfectly together.  It will take a little time for that to happen, so we are not offering a die cutter or a trimmer in our new Annual Catalog.  Stampin’ Up! is redesigning the dies, and embossing folders to work with our new products. In the meantime, we will continue to use our tools as normal and look forward to all the new products.  If you have additional questions on any of these changes, let me know and I will happy to forward you additional information.

Pretty Spring Cards

And just like that…… It’s Easter!!! Well almost. You do have some time to make some beautiful cards and fun Easter gifts for the little ones.  I just love the Fable Friends set for some darling Easter cards.  Coupled with our beautiful Gingham Gala 6 x 6 DSP, you can come up with some amazing cards.  I want to thank Amy Combs for these beautiful projects we made at her retreat. When I saw how adorable this little bunny is (kind of reminds me of the Velveteen Rabbit) I knew that it would be a big hit when coupled with the Gingham paper.

The other cards in this post are the cards we made at the last workshop on March 30th.  We had such a good time as we do every workshop, but the ladies this time seemed to really like the “Fun Folds” cards and “out of the box” deigns.  Only 1 of the 5 cards is a traditional front open card.  Let me know what you think!

Here is the inside of the card above. It’s all in how you fold it!

I love this very easy card made with this bright DSP.  It’s so versatile.

How awesome is this black card?  The solid black makes the bright colors pop and makes for a beautiful card.

I’ve always loved Navy blue and bright green! I love the way this card perfectly blends together. You have geometric figures, checks, daisies, dots and a doily going on that’s what makes it so eye catching.

I love, love, love this trip fold card. You can make 2 out of 12 x 12 DSP. Again, it’s all in the fold.  Not difficult to make, but it looks difficult so it’s always a big hit.

Some of the DSP we used is Sale-a-Bration DSP so it is no longer available but the cards can be made with any DSP of your choice.  If you have any questions about availability on any stamp set or product, let me know and I’ll give you an update.

Mother’s Day Workshop

This month’s workshop theme will be Mother’s Day. We’re going to have so much fun working on making some amazing Mother’s Day Cards to give to a Mother in your life.  Did you notice I said a Mother in your life? That’s because not only do I make my wonderful Mother a nice card every year, I also like to send Mother’s Day cards to my dear friends who are mother’s themselves and also grandmothers.  What a wonderful way to show those you love on such a special day.

Show Your Love Workshop (1/19/19) Recap

Workshop Recap

In case you weren’t able to make it to the workshop on the 19th here are the projects we made.  We had so much fun.  I wanted to use a little more challenging bundles Forever Lovely and Meant To Be.  While these bundles are a little more challenging, they are meant to allow you to make some amazing projects. You just need to learn to use them one time and you’ll be hooked!

I took the most designs from our 2019 Occasions Catalog.  I wanted to make Valentine’s Day cards and incorporate all occasion cards as well.  I think I was able to do that.  Look at the beautiful colors and the great embellishments I used.  So delicate and pretty.

When I say that these bundles are challenging, that is true but only to a certain extent.  If you know how to properly use the Framelits, Thinlits and Edgelits, they’re pretty easy to use. Take a close look at these projects and let me know if you need help using the bundles.  Once you have made your own projects with them, send them to me and I will post them on my Blog.

This beautiful Happy Birthday card was so easy to make.  I used the Forever Lovely stamp set for the flowers in the middle and the Happy Birthday word stamp from All That You Are set.  I accented it with All My Love DSP, All My Love Ribbon and the leaves and sprigs were die cut out of the Lovely Flowers Edgelits Dies in Soft Sea Foam card stock. I colored the epoxy accents with the Lovely Lipstick Blends pen. I used Whisper White card stock and Flirty Flamingo card stock which made the card pop!

This card is featured in our Occasions Catalog on page 3.  I liked it so much I didn’t have to change it much.  I need so many birthday card and this one especially is so pretty with all the different colors.  I used the All That You Are stamp set and the matching Frosted Bouquet Framelits Dies to cut out the flowers. I used our new color Balmy Blue card stock as well as Balmy Blue ink.  I love that color.  It’s such a perfect blue and so versatile.  I made the ribbon with Night of Navy medium Bakers Twine. Did you notice the Vellum? It’s kind of subtle but adds such a nice accent.  This one was a big hit at the workshop.

How pretty and elegant is this card? While I have to admit this card need a little TLC while lining up the corner dies, the end result is so pretty. I again used the Forever Lovely Bundle for stamps and Edgelits but I kept the continunity of the card with the All My Love DSP, All My Love ribbon and All My Love cardstock. I especially like the rose on the top left of the center piece of the card.  It’s an Edgelits Die what you put on the corner and it cuts around it and the end result is the rose ends up being a part of the card.  How cool is that?  It’s very easy and so pretty.  I love it.

This card is also featured in the Occasions Catalog on page 4 along with the card above.  Again, I used the Forever Lovely Bundle and all the All My Love Suite of product.  I used Lovely Lipstick color for the roses and dauber technique behind the die cut flowers.  Did you notice how the Edgelits not only cut out the flowers but it also embosses on the edges.  So unique and pretty.  I love the versatility of the All My Love DSP.  I used it on each of these cards and didn’t have to duplicate any of the paper.  One of my new favorite colors is Granny Apple Green, which I used on the leaves.  Soft Sea Foam is a keeper color.  It’s so pretty and unique and not over powering at all.  It adds just the right touch of color with the sprigs. A little secret, I’m giving this one to my husband for Valentine’s Day. I’m not giving anything away as I know he’s on my mailing list for my Blog, but I know he doesn’t read the entire post! Ha!

This last card was super easy yet I think it looks like it’s super fussy.  I use the amazing new Lace Dynamic TIEF.  I didn’t even spray it with water before I ran it thought the Big Shot, and look at the dynamic impression it made.  On this card I used the Meant To Be Bundle.  The big take away from this bundle are these cool Framelits Dies.  Not only are they hearts but there are a few stitched hearts and bunched hearts and hearts, hearts, hearts! There are 16 dies total in the set and they can be used to make a variety of cards, not only Valentine’s Day cards.  You can get really creative with this bundle.  I used Calypso Coral and our new Grapefruit Grove cardstock to put this card together.  I added a pop of color with the yellow (Daffodil Delight) rose. I used the Calypso Coral Blends to color the clear epoxy accents.

Darshana Patel.  Some of you know Darsh from past workshops. She told me she’s had a real desire to be a hobby demonstrator for a while and finally decided to take the plunge.  Join me in welcoming Darsh.  Hopefully she’ll be able to make it to the workshops in 2019.

The next big announcement is the all new 2019 Occasions Catalog and our annual Sale-a-Bration promotion! ANNABELLE’S STAMPING STUDIO’S FIRST

PAPER PUMPKIN WORKSHOP

On Saturday December 1, I had my very first Paper Pumpkin workshop.  It was a lot like our Paper Pumpkin Club but different on several levels. First the Hostess Darshana Patel received all the Hostess Benefits, as she hosted it in her home and provided all the food, friends, family and fun.  Each person had their own Paper Pumpkin kit to work on. It was so much fun seeing everyone’s personality coming out in each of their creations.  We had door prizes and amazing food and snacks and had an amazing time. Darshana had such a wonderful time that we’ve already booked it for the first Saturday in December  from here on out.  It really put us on in the Holiday spirit!

If you would like to host your own Paper Pumpkin workshop and get all the Hostess Benefits, contact me today for details! Don’t forget Sale-a-Bration is starting January 2, 2019.  During Sale-a-Bration you earn extra Hostess Benefits.

“Giving Thanks and Celebrate” – November Workshop

NOVEMBER “GIVING THANKS AND CELEBRATE” WORKSHOP

It’s hard to believe that the Holidays creeped up on us so fast again this year.  Seems like it was just a short time ago we were still in summer mode. Even though the Season to celebrate is almost upon us we still have a little bit of time to create the things that we want to for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s. But before we jump into full holiday mode, I want to prepare you for Sale-a-Bration and the all new 2019 Occasions Catalog! Now that’s hard to believe! Not only the holidays, but a whole new year is upon us.  I’m so excited for Sale-a-Bration and the Occasions catalog as I am every year.  In fact, I’m writing this post on the plane on my way to Orlando, FL for Stampin’ Up!’s 30 Anniversary and Birthday party!!!  My good friend from High School and College is one of my downline demonstrators and is with me on this trip.  She doesn’t know how much fun she’s going to have.  I’m so excited because this is the first year I’ll be able to attend CenterStage. CenterStage is an event exclusive to those who hold the title Silver Elite and above. This year it’s a special event at Epcot Center on Wednesday November 7. Since I’ve never been to a CenterStage, I don’t know what all is involved, but I do know it’s an extra special event where we get treated to some awesome perks. I’ll let you know all about it in my next post. I want to thank each and every one of my recruits for making this possible for me. I appreciate all that you do and the support you have given me these past couple of years. March Madness Workshop Recap

This month the March Madness

Workshop was so much fun!

Have you ever planned an event and did everything that needed to be done, checked everything, reviewed everything and when time comes for the event you realize, I’m totally ready and everything is going to be just right?  Well that’s exactly what happened yesterday at the March Madness Workshop!

It was so much fun and everyone loved the projects. In fact they were “wow’ed” at two of them in particular. These projects were so much fun to make and once they put them together you think, “That was so easy and the finished cards have a fun twist to them.”  Thank Amy Combs for the designs and ideas.

The highlight of the workshops each month of course are the projects, but this month we had a special St. Patrick’s Day treat from my good friend Carol.  She made cake pops with white frosting and green sparkles.  They were so good! Carol is such a good baker……think back to the wonderful Christmas cookies she made! Thank you Carol.

Here are some pictures of the projects we made and of the ladies being very creative.  Sorry I missed taking a picture of the cake pops.

This card was made with the free Sale-a-Bration Cake Soiree Memories & More kit, some Wink of Stella, white doilies and voila! We used the Thank You stamp from the Petal Palette set. Super super simple but so pretty.  The picture doesn’t show the  beauty of the Wink of Stella.  I love love love Wink of Stella. It gives just the right amount of shine and glitter.

Product List

This is one of the fun fold cards we made. Again very easy to make, but a really cool result and a “WOW” card! We used the blends on this card.  Boy are they ever fun to work with.  They blend so smoothly there are so many ways to use them and you can even clean up a little mess if you happen to color outside the lines. The Petal Palette stamp set along with the Petals and More Framelits dies are the perfect fit for using the Blends.  You have to try them.

This is the card when it is folded. A regular 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2 card to fit in a regular envelope.

Product List

Do you need a greeting card that will hold a gift card? Birthday, Graduation, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day? Then this is the card for you. We made this sweet birthday card using the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set and some of the most fun festive colors we have. It’s also a fun fold card and just a little stamping and a whole lot of “How did you do that?” Super Cute! See the picture below for the inside where you can see the spot for the gift card.

Do you see the gift card holder just above the green ribbon tucked under the DSP. Again, super easy and super cut

Product List

In this project we again used the free Sale-a-Bration Cake Soiree Memories and More kit. The Memories and More kits are way more than simply creating your scrapbooks and keeping your memories safe. All the cards match our ink, paper, embellishments so whipping up a card is easy peasy!

Product List

This card as with the Thank You card above, it’s all about the Blends. Are you beginning to see how versatile the Blends are and what great shading you get from applying the color in the right place. Did you know that you can color almost anything with the Blends? For example, we carry white dots and you can use the Blends to color the dots to match the project. Who knew right? You just have to get the Blends! You won’t be sorry.

March Stamping Madness Workshop

Hello Stampers and Crafters:

Wow how this past month has flown by.  Every year in January the month seems to go by rather slowly for me.  I know it’s a long month and all, but the minute the end of the January rolls around, all of a sudden it’s March!  Where does February go? Once Valentine’s Day is over it seems like time just picks up speed and doesn’t stop!  Here it is already almost the middle of March, well not really but by the time the next workshop comes around it will be past the middle of March.

I want to personally invite you to join us as we gather together and start to make our Spring cards, Easter Cards and get a head start on ideas for Mother’s Day cards.

We still have about 3-1/2 weeks until Sale-a-Bration is over so we have a lot of time to get our orders in to earn our free product.  Have you had a chance to see the 2nd release of 4 new Sale-a-Bration choices?  Click here to see the brochure and start planning your list to qualify for either Level 1 ($50 before s & t, or Level 2 ($100 before s & t).
