It’s Not Too Late!

How are you all doing right about now? In the middle of the last push/rush to get everything done for the big day?  Hopefully everyone has gotten pretty much everything done and are ready. I can’t buy some things for our dinners until Saturday because I don’t want them to go bad before Christmas eve and Christmas day. I do have all my wrapping to do but I put most all of my gifts in gift bags and it makes it so much easier and I like the look of the bags.
 
It’s Not Too Late!

I want to remind you that you can still reserve a Stamparatus!  The first round of reserved Stamparatus’  will be in on or around February 1, 2018. The second reservation round goes from December 1 to December 30 which is next Saturday.  If you order now on the second round of reservations they will begin shipping on March 19.  There is no limit on how many reservations they will take for the second round so you will definitely get it if you order by December 30.  Go to my online store and click on Stamparatus “Reserve Now” to reserve yours.  You card will NOT charged until it ships in March. Stampin’ Up! simply needs your credit card number to hold your reservation.
 
 
New Year News!
 
Keep looking here on my blog for the first workshop in 2018!  I can’t believe it’s almost 2018!  Where have the years gone? I’m going on my 24th year with Stampin’ Up!. Stampin’ Up! is celebrating it’s 30th birthday this year.  I think they’re planning some fun things for all of us this year.  We’ll be celebrating in Orlando, FL next November with a big 30th birthday party.   Time really flies.
 
I’m really looking forward to the new year and to all of the fun things I have planned for our workshops in the New Year.

I wanted to show you some cards I made with the “Featured Stamp Set/Bundle”.  Oh So Eclectic.  All of these cards are from the same Naturally Eclectic DSP pack and the stamp set and thinlits. I used the Thinlits to cut all the flowers, leaves and the lattice.  I also love the matching ribbon, and the colors are so pretty.  They were all easy to make. This is the kind of set that makes you want to keep going and going to make the card even better.  There is so much variety within the bundle itself.  I didn’t even use up all the different designs of paper so I have so many more options to work with and different combinations.
 
I’m going to focus on a different set every couple of weeks and put it in my “Featured Stamp Set/Bundle” section here on the Blog.  Once I post which set that will be, If you make a project with that set I will post it here. Clarification on Retiring Bundles!

I want to make a correction to my last post where I indicated that some items (Bundles=stamps & thinlits purchased together) were retiring.
 Some of you were asking about or Retiring Bundles, so I want to let you know  it means that some of the stamp sets and the Thinlits or Framelits die cutters that are made for the stamp sets, will still be offered in our new catalog but will not be offered in a “Bundle”.  If you buy them together before May 31, 2017 you will get 10% off the set or bundle.  So the “Bundle” price is retiring, NOT the stamps and dies.  So you will still be able to buy them individually or together but without the discount.  If you like the set and the 10% discount make your choices by May 31.

Just thought I’d put this out to you to think about before Sale-a-Bration ends on Friday.  When you order your stamp pads do you order the ink refills? If not, now is the time to do so. I’m specifically focusing on the 2015-2017 “In Colors”. They will be retiring in June of this year so you’ll need to get them before they are gone. Same goes for the card stock and all the “In Color” embellishments.  As for the ink refills there are so many great uses for them. Here are just a few ideas:
 
  1. Watercoloring (with aqua painters or blender pens)
  2. Color mixing for a custom color (for use as watercoloring or highlighting)
  3. Make custom color ink spots (for stamping images)
  4. Marbling Technique (with shave cream view video below)
  5. Baby Wipe Technique
  6. Color the edges of a card or project to add just a pop of color (use sponge daubers)
  7. Use a few drops in our ink spritzer for a splattered look 
  8. Dye ribbon any color you’d like

When Stampin’ Up! released it’s 2017 Occasions Catalog (1/4/17 – 5/31/17) and began our annual Sale-a-Bration Promotion (1/4/17-3/31/17) I got a glimpse of both catalogs and I went crazy because as usual I wanted to have everything in it!  After going through it many times I realized that was not possible, so I picked out some of my favorite products and began to design.  I want to share with you what I’ve come up with…. and at my January and February workshops we’ve had so much fun creating with these sets and embellishments. Of course, we didn’t come up with everything that can be made with these great sets, but I think these are some really adorable projects. Balloon Adventures and Happiest of Birthdays
 This is such and amazingly easy card to make. It really is! You simply fold, stamp, punch, glue and add a ribbon and you’re all set.  Change it up a bit and make it for any occasion, not just for a birthday.

 Cool treats is a really fun set.  At first I thought I wouldn’t really use it and of course when I got it I thought this set is not just for making kids cards but it’s really very versatile and I think those sprinkles are so fun.

Happy New Year – 2017!

 Hello Everyone – Wow it’s 2017 already. I can hardly believe it!  I’m so excited to see what this year has for me and Annabelle’s Stampin’ Studio. I know that a new year has a different meaning for all of us, so I’m hoping that you have had time to put your decorations away and began to make your plans for the new year and perhaps started on those plans and goals.
My goal for the new year and my new beginning is almost ready to go. I’m branding my Blog with new artwork and am so excited to launch it later this month. It’s really going to be so beautiful and so much easier to use I can wait for you to see it.  I’ve been working on it for the past couple of months and I think you are going to love it! Watch for it soon……
Another fun thing at the beginning of every new year for me with Stampin’ Up! is our new Occasions Catalog and our Sale-a-Bration promotion.  As you know Stampin’ Up! has 3 catalogs each year. The “Big” Annual catalog that runs from June 1 through May 31 each year.  For our holiday season we have our Holiday Catalog which runs from September 1 through December 31. The Holiday Catalog focuses on Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year. Our Occasions Catalog  focuses on Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Weddings, Babies and Father’s Day which runs from January 4, 2017 to May 31, 2017.  I’ve posted links to both the Occasions Catalog and the Sale-a-Bration catalogs below for you to browse and shop. Let me know if you have any questions.
It’s an exciting time of year for me because there’s nothing that I like more than free stamps and supplies to start my new year and a fresh beginning to creating new and fun projects.
